About Me.
Hello, and welcome to my website! If you've come this far, you're probably professionally stalking me, so I'll take a moment to (humble) brag and list my various roles and career accomplishments.

To sum it up, I'm an award-winning West Coast-based arts & culture journalist with nearly 10 years of experience in lifestyle reporting, feature writing and (copy) editing for digital-first publications and — if you can believe it — print magazines and newspapers. I cut my teeth covering local news and events in West Los Angeles as a cub reporter for the nautically named Argonaut newsweekly and then moved up the ranks to helm the whole ship, so to speak, during the COVID-19 pandemic. From there, I made my way to Northern California, where I was one of five early employees at The San Francisco Standard, now the Bay Area's fastest-growing news organization. It being a startup, I wore many hats from copy editor to newsletter writer to eventually full-time arts & culture reporter — a role I pitched and created for myself.
Scaling the hills of San Francisco as a roving lifestyle reporter, I traipsed through techie toga parties, stress-tested startups for friendship and even dated an AI robot for a week. My work has received nods from the California News Publishers Association, the National Arts and Entertainment Awards and The San Francisco Press Club. My curiosities lie at the intersection of art, technology and human relationships. If you're excited about those spaces, too, feel free to give me a follow or drop me a line at christinacampodonico (at) gmail.com.
